Yr Hen Lyfrgell (The Old Library) is Cardiff’s Welsh Cultural and Language Centre, occupying the old Central Library on The Hayes.  

We developed a holistic interior scheme for the multi-use Grade 2* listed building.  Home to a Gift Shop, Café, Adult-Learning Teaching Rooms; Offices, Conference facilities and Function Rooms for hire – the centre showcases the best of Welsh culture, produce and language in Cardiff.  

The interior design is a composition of clean geometric lines and shapes, in bright colours, with industrial galvanised steel, birch plywood and edge-lit acrylic details; intent on breathing new life into an old city-centre building.
