We were commissioned by proprietors Mark and Sue to design a lighting feature as part of the interior refurbishment and extension of the renowned West-Wales restaurant, Y Polyn.

The custom designed and made lighting feature forms a pivot point between the bar and dining spaces, hanging centre stage within the new extension at Y Polyn. Its fluid yet strong form acknowledges the restaurant’s location in the Tywi Valley and the river’s credential as a rich resource for sewin and salmon runs.  As customers move around the installation, it appears to be moving in sync with them, appearing different from all angles.
